Jerry Franklin inducted into the Cuemaker's Hall of Fame

The late Jerry Franklin was inducted into the American Cuemaker's Association Hall of Fame on March 17, 2005 at the Allen Hopkins Super Billiards Expo. The event was attended by approximately 100 guests.

In the photo below, ACA President Dan Dishaw presents Jerry's wife, Laurie Franklin with the Hall of Fame plaque.

Congratulations to Laurie, and family and friends of Jerry for this much deserved honor.

Jerry Franklin was one of my best friends. I knew Jerry for 16 years having first met him when I moved to Las Vegas in 1980.

Below is a picture taken a few weeks before Jerry passed away in May of 1996. We had just won the State Championship playing out of The Rum Runner here in Las Vegas.

Jerry made the cue you see below for me in 1992. It is Gaboon Ebony with Ivory inlays & floating Birdseye Maple points. The ivory butt cap of the cue has a hand painted desert scene. The cue also has matching custom made joint protectors.
